The Story
Lamar Trojans - Russel
He just moved to Alabama from Florida from Georgia. He has been playing fantasy football off and on since 2002. In his first draft pick in 2002 he picked, recently retired Randall Cunningham. F'n rookie! This is his first year (2018) playing in an IDP and dynasty league. He is having a rough go in the 1st year. Russel is improving on a slow rebuild. He is still looking for his 1st playoff appearance. Season 20 secured the Creston for Russel. He has won the OROY in Season 17 with RB Dameon Pierce. He has moved up to 21st in wins.
Blacklick Vikings
Boone - He is a friend of Jake(Turkeyfoot). I thought that this might be a good fit for him but I guessed wrong. Boone lasted 1 season with us. He did well in the 1 season by finishing 13-6 and making the Playoffs. He sold off a lot of his future for the now and it paid off. But he lost in the 1st round of the Playoffs. He got the MVP of the league with Antonio Brown. And Boone set the High Score in a game at 280 points.
Cedaredge Bruins - Harry
He lives in San Antonio, Texas and has played FF since 1993. He took over in 2007 and made an impact in the league. He has won his division twice. He didn't make any Super Bowl visits but made the JaMarcus Russell Bowl twice and winning it once. Harry had 2 Playoff seasons and was 0-4 in the post season. He finished 93-97 during the regular season. He does hold the record for Most Consecutive Losses at 14. Harry did bring home some Awards. 2 MVP's with Tom Brady in Season 2 & 10 and a Manager of the Year in Season 2. Harry was a tough competitor before he disappeared on us before the 2017 season. He didn't respond to multiple emails and was replaced just before the draft. He did contact me about a month later but his replacement was made. His lack of communication did him in and it wasn't the 1st time. Sometimes he wouldn't respond back to trade offers or if I needed to let him know of roster issues.
Brophy Broncos - Lucas
He joined the league while commishing 5 other leagues. He had very little IDP experience before joining us. I don't remember much of him being around the message board. Maybe he was too busy with his other leagues? I do remember that he didn't want to finish drafting in the original draft so since he needed a kicker to fill out his roster, I drafted the retired Morten Anderson for him in the last round. Lucas won the Offensive Rookie of the Year with RB Laurence Maroney in 2006. Brophy lasted 1 season with us and finished 9-10.
